Terms and Conditions for The Middle Matters Co.
Welcome to The Middle Matters Co. By accessing or using our reading intervention services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. Services Provided
The Middle Matters Co. offers personalized reading intervention services for students aged 5 to 13. Our services may be delivered in person or virtually, depending on the needs of the student and availability. We also provided Special Education Support services as needed for parents with children in Special Education programs. Services are provided at the discretion of the owner of The Middle Matters Co. and can be revoked at any time.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to students between the ages of 5 and 13, with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Consent is required prior to any service rendered.
3. Booking and Payments
- Scheduling: Sessions are scheduled based on mutual agreement between The Middle Matters Co. and the parent or guardian.
- Payment Terms: Payment for services is required in advance unless otherwise agreed upon. Payment methods accepted include debit/credit card, check, and other methods upon request.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will be rescheduled without penalty.
- Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may be subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
4. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Parents/guardians are responsible for:
- Ensuring their child attends scheduled sessions on time
- Providing a conducive learning environment for virtual sessions, if necessary.
- Informing The Middle Matters Co. of any changes in their child’s learning needs
5. Student Conduct
We strive to create a positive and respectful learning environment. Students are expected to:
- Engage respectfully with instructor
- Follow session guidelines and instructions
Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in session termination at the discretion of the instructor.
6. Data Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and resources provided by The Middle Matters Co. are the intellectual property of The Middle Matters Co. and are intended solely for educational use by the student. Unauthorized distribution or reproduction is prohibited.
8. Liability Disclaimer
While we strive to provide effective reading intervention services, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes. Parents/guardians acknowledge that their child’s progress may vary based on individual effort and other factors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Middle Matters Co. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Parents/guardians will be notified of material changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services with 24 hours notice. Refunds for unused sessions will be handled in accordance with our refund policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
